THE PRINCIPLE OF FAITH

Faith is the foundation of the Christian life and is the principle that brings us to Jesus
Christ. It is faith that will make all the promises of God a reality in your life.

What Faith is Not:
Faith is not trying to make God do something for you. If you are trying to make God do something for you, that means you believe He has not done it. Faith begins where the will of God is known. If you don’t know God’s will in a situation then you cannot believe that God will help you.
The Word of God tells us that all the promises of God belong to us through Christ.

What is Faith?
We have found what faith is not, so what is faith? I looked in Hebrews 11:1 for a definition of faith, but could not find one that would satisfy me. The bible tells me that faith is the substance of things hoped for but what is faith? It tells me that faith is the evidence of things you cannot see, but what is faith?
Faith simply defined is: believing that you have something that does not exist in the physical, sensory, perceptive world that you live in. It does exist in the realm of the spirit but it has not yet manifested in the material world.

Faith reaches into the spiritual realm and takes hold of the promise of God’s Word and brings it into the realm of reality.

Overcoming the 4 Common Habits of Unhappy People

Circumstances can certainly make life unhappy. But a part – often a big part – of unhappiness comes from our own thinking, behavior and habits.

1.        Living in a sea of negative voices.
No one is an island. Who we socialize with, what we read, watch and listen to has big effect on how we feel and think.
It becomes a lot harder to be happier if you let yourself be dragged down by negative voices. Voices that tell you that life will in large part always be unhappy, dangerous and filled with fear and limits. Voices that watch life from a negative perspective.

2.        Getting stuck in the past and future too much.

Spending much of your time in the past and reliving old painful memories, conflicts, missed opportunities and so on can hurt whole lot. Spending much of your time in the future and imagining how things could go wrong at work, in your relationships and with your health can build into horrifying nightmare scenarios playing over and over in your head. Not being here right now in life as it happens can lead to missing out on a lot of wonderful experiences.

2.        Comparing yourself and your life to others and their lives.

One very common and destructive daily habit is to constantly compare your life and yourself to other people and their lives. You compare cars, houses, jobs, shoes, money, relationships, social popularity and so on. And at the end of the day you pummel your self-esteem to the ground and you create a lot of negative feelings.

3.        Aiming for perfection.

Does life has to be perfect before you are happy?
Do you have to behave in a perfect way and get perfect results to be happy?
Then happiness will not be easy to find. Setting the bar for your performance at an inhuman level usually leads to low self-esteem and feeling like you are not good enough even though you may have had a lot of good or excellent results. You and what you do is never enough good enough except maybe once in a while when feels like something goes just perfect.

How to overcome these habits:

Focus outward. Instead of thinking about yourself and how people may perceive you all the time, focus outward on the people around you. Listen to them and help them. This will help you to raise your self-esteem and help you to reduce that self-centered focus.
Replacing those negative voices with more positive influences is very powerful. It can be like a whole new world opening up.

So spend more time with positive people, inspiring music and books, movies and TV-shows that make you laugh and think about life in a new way.

A Website of Inspiration

A website of Inspiration

There are lots of websites in the internet today, but unfortunately, due to the bulk and mass internet usage, fake news and undesirable contents are being vulnerable and seems to be true though it is not.

To overcome the issue, a warm-hearted Taiwanese woman came to the idea of creating a website which is accessible along Asian countries. Since these nationalities are socially and economically interconnected, Mrs. Julie Huang developed an idea of organized website.

Brief Background

Mrs. Julie Huang Feng Chia University, during her stay in the campus she did not waste time in making other stuffs and became a hardworking student.

After getting married to a gentleman, there love resulted to a wonderful children. God sent Mr. and Mrs.Huang raised their sweet daughter and independent son rightfully. Dreams do come true, like what any parents always dream of, their kids are now degree holder.  The fist born is now an Architect while the latter is a pro in computer related matter.
Huang family is incredibly blessed, the then kids on there house had a gret opportunity to express their inner t6alents and is now working abroad with a good salary in a good company.

Being a mother of two bright and achiever kids, Mrs. Huang feels the distance making it hard for families to communicate with and that’s what brought her to the idea of creating the Convolingo Website. Many nationalities wonder what’s inside the website. As a clarification, the website explains its main goal which is to link people for a sustainable multicultural sharing of thoughts.

Taiwan is a developed country, many overseas workers try their luck on Taiwan dreaming to earn a bigger  income to provide for the needs of their families in native country, with this regard  Mrs. Huang encouraged other people to try the website. Luckily, it had a positive impact since it became a website of journal compilations with different stories being shared along the labels. The website is a helpful tool to influence other people.

INSPIRING CONTESTS

Last May, which is the mother’s month, the Convolingo Website published an Activity Contest named “Mother’s Day Card Contest”, where there five (5) entries where chosen as a winner. The criteria for judging is the contect of the card and how the sender’s expression is being expressed. The five winners were able to get their rewards right after the announcement of winners.
The activity influenced each other’s heart since we are now in a Millenial period, where thoughts are now being untold and less used. Many untold letters were being published and it became a signal that we should always remember to love and appreciate our parents.

I was very thankful that day because I saw my name listed there as the first winner, I was surprised to be chosen by an International Website as a winner. Practically, because I won a rewards that I have used in my first semester tuition fee as a fourth year college student in the Philippines’ biggest state university. My beloved Philippines is a third world country and a home of million families, money we earn are being used in priorities which I made when I get the rewards I won. In life, it is “You” that will bring happiness and fullfillment to yourself. If you work hard, the return is great.

On June, the website then again published a contest named “Blogger Contest”, again it is open to anyone, in the contest the mechanics is the contestant should share a story in their life when they feel down and then again rise to gain better tomorrow. The contest is overwhelming to read, you can read the winning stories in “ convolingo.com”, just create an account and log in. Reading the stories there will inspire you or may influence your mind. Challenges is stick  on our lives, it may seem hard but you will realized you’re blessed because you have the opportunity to overcome difficulties.

Mrs. Julie Huang herself is the ultimate proctor on that contest. She is willing to help the blogger to create a colorful and professional blog that beveryone will love to read.
